What diet is best slimfast, rosemary conley, weight watchers or slimming world?

All four were tested in Diet Trials, Rosemary Conely came out on top, it;s better as exercise is also involved. takes longer but the results are longer lasting.
What diet is best slimfast, rosemary conley, weight watchers or slimming world?
I found weight watchers incredibly helpful and lost a lot of weight

don't go for slimfast you should eat a balanced and varied diet so in my opinion meal replacement isn't a good idea

rosemary conley is a healthy plan which promotes good food choices with exercise which in my opinion is a good idea

and as for slimming world I have no idea but it doesn't look very good
Reply:Rosemary Conley - not only are you relearning about healthy eating, you are encouraged to join in the exercise they offer at the class. It is a realistic and life long healthy eating 'diet' - not really a diet at all!

Weight Watchers is also a realistic 'diet' - you can eat what you want as long as you stick to your 'points'. It teaches you about healthy food choices - low fat foods, what foods contain vitamins and minerals. Exercise is also encouraged.

Slim fast doesn't teach you how to make wise food choices, and slimming world, with its red and green days, isn't realistic for long term, real-life eating.

All the diets can work, as they work on the 'eat less, move more' rule, which is what all successful diets follow. You have to look at how easy they are to stick to in the long term. A diet shouldn't really be a diet, it is better to learn how to cook and eat healthily without feeling like you are going without.
Reply:None. Diets don't work long term, they are temporary %26amp; provide a quick fix. When you come off the diet you put more weight on %26amp; then it becomes a yo-yo effect of dieting %26amp; becoming fatter. Just eat sensibly, educate yourself about food. Do a nutrition course %26amp; get the facts. Stop eating when you are almost full, %26amp; do regular exercise. Don't get caught in the diet trap, it is a vicious circle. Moderation is the best method. Paul Mckenna has some excellent advise on weight loss. Read his book "I can make you thin". It includes a hypnosis CD that you can use to help reinforce the ideas if you wish to, otherwise read the book anyway.
Reply:None of those because they have temporary results and the thing you need is changing your way of eating and your life style (going out and EXERCISE because without it diets are a waste of time)
Reply:each have their own merits but its important to fiond one that a) makes you comfortable

b) you like the food

c) fits your life style

d) doesnt depress you

e) WORKS FOR YOU!

Not all of these work for everyone - i have tried them all with some successes and some failures. I now only eat 3 meals a day, have lots of fruit and veg, always eat breakfast, have given up white bread (my downfall), walk 30 minutes a day and watch my calories and fat

I paid fortunes to peopel who scowled at me when i didnt lose any weigt and now its dropping off. I wish you luck and hope you find a diet that suits you - remember it will not happen overnight but it will happen if you stick at it, are sensible and realistis!
Reply:Don't waste your money on any of them !!!!!!!!Smaller portions, exercise and determination to succeed!!!!!

Try eating your meals from a smaller plate then you don't have to fanny about trying to weigh food, or decide if you are having a red or a green day!!!!!!!
Reply:Done them all; I don`t like slimfast as I was starving all the time although it does work--but then so does not eating.

Rosemary is great as she includes an exercise class in the cost but don`t like the diet,

Weight watchers didn`t get on with this at all can`t be bothered with all that counting.

Slimming world as long as you can get your head around the `syns` this is the one for me. Dead simple red and green days loads to eat and the weight comes off. plus the rest of the family can eat exactly the same food without any moans about them not wanting to be on a diet. By the way I have no connection with Slimming world other than using their eating plan.
Reply:A number of diets have been looked at by doctors who applied controlled scientific analysis to them.

Much to their surprise the Slimfast came out one of the best, not only for weight loss but for sustained weight loss! Odd because it was the least natural of the diets tested.
Reply:Different ones work for different people. I found on slimming world i ate more than i thought was possible but lost weight. as soon as i stopped tho i piled it back on.

at the moment i'm 2 stone lighter than i was thanks to my own diet plan! Simply put i cut my calories down really low, had fruit for breakfast and mid morning snack, a slimfast bar for lunch, another mid afternoon snack of up to 100 cals and then a normal dinner in the evening. i'm still losing weight and it also got me use to eating less which means i can eat a wider variety of things but not stuff myself silly!

good luck!
Reply:For me the best diet is Herbalife. I lost a stone and a half in 6 weeks and have kept it off for 6 years!!
