Should the movie The davinci code be banned and why,If you answer yes then then why wasnt Rosemary'others also

Nope! Freedom of speech, religion, and press would all be denied and thus illegal to ban!

Hooray for our first amendment rights!
Should the movie The davinci code be banned and why,If you answer yes then then why wasnt Rosemary'others also
Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are two of our most precious rights. You cannot debate a question if you silence the opposition. Christians should accept this as an opportunity to enlighten others as to the nature of their faith. First of all, this is a work of fiction. It has never been promoted as anything else. Second, so what? Jesus was a man, why would he deny himself such an important part of humanity as romantic love? We know the tale of the life of Jesus is incomplete. The only stories that have survived to the present time are the ones needed to assert his divinity and establish rules of behavior. Why would it be so difficult to believe the god who became a man behaved like a man? So, my answer is no, no movie should be banned because it contains unpopular assertions. Rosemary's Baby was a trite story that was wholly unbelievable, and shouldn't even be in this discussion.
Reply:Because we don't live in Medieval Europe and church can't say what we can and can't do - it's not taboo to question religion through fiction.
Reply:i don't think it should be banned. It's based on a book which is a fictional story. It is no offense to christianity and might turn out to be a good entertaining movie.
Reply:No movie should be banned, but allow to present themselves.

It's just a movie, folks, espousing an interesting idea.

If we were banning movies, "Boxing Helena" would be the first to go, followed by practically any Mickey Rourke movies.
Reply:No, c'mon people it is a piece of art- a book turned into a movie. If you don't approve of it, don't view the movie!
Reply:I believe it is just a movie not a true story, then lets don't give it more fuss than it deserves, besides I have heard it is not as good as they say.
