What's the scarier movie.....The Exorcist, The Omen OR Rosemary's Baby?

The Exorcist by far -- scared the hell out of me, and can you imagine being a 9 year old and watch something like that in the middle of the night? I was scared to the point of not being able to sleep well for weeks! And I think the part where linda blair used the crucifix to "you know" is just beyond repulsive! I'll never ever watch that movie ever again as long as I live.

you can't beat The Exorcist. Especially with the added parts there just put in...the scene where Regan's spider walking down the stairs scares me just to THINK about! Report It
Reply:Rosemary's Baby is more suspenseful, thus scarier...
Reply:The Exorcist...
Reply:The exorcist! Had nightmares
Reply:Exorcist. Because it's sort of plausible. And they did some original things in it, so it was genuinely unnerving.

The action in Omen wasn't nearly as bloodcurdlingly freaky ... although it was creepy it felt kind of manipulative and predictable compared to Exorcist. Rosemary's Baby was more funny than really terrifying, although I mean that in a good way.
Reply:The Exorcist
Reply:Omen
Reply:are you watching the amc channel?, the exorcist is on right now

you should rent "The Stuff" it's an 80's horror about killer yogurt
Reply:well the Excorcist was scary because of the turned head and her spouting all the bile, but I find Rosemary's Baby very creepy.

The Omen ( original one) was okay.

It would be Rosemary's Baby for me
Reply:The Exorcist....i had to be sedated to sleep after i saw that!!!!!
Reply:The Exorcist by far.I think because it was a true story.I'm from D.C and the real house is still up in Georgetown. And it happened to a teenage boy and not a girl.
Reply:When you are referring to more than two topics, it would be "Scariest." Sorry.....hope that doesn't offend you.

NOW.....the BOOK of "The Exorcist" scared the heck out of me...more so than the movie. "Rosemary's Baby" was scarey. But I would have to say, "The Omen"..I never saw it because I knew it would be too scarey.

Answer= "The Omen."
Reply:Personally, I think The Exorcist. It's so funny you ask that, I happen to be watching it right now on AMC. LOL.

The other movies are great too, but The Exorcist has that special little something extra.
Reply:I saw the Exorcist in Hollywood when it first came out. It scared the living crap out of me. When I saw the original Omen, it scared the crap out of me too! Rosemary's Baby is a really bizarre movie but it didn't really scare me. I would have to say that the Exorcist scared me the worst.
Reply:The Exorcist.
Reply:I've never sat through the entire film of "The Exorcist". The film just freaks me out! However, "The Omen" really isn't that scary. And as for "Rosemary's Baby", I haven't seen that one either, but as I recall, it ranks right up there as fairly scary.

So, to answer this question, "The Exorcist" wins hand down, yes.
Reply:The Exorcist!!!!

Though the others are very good also. NOTHING beats the Exorcist!
Reply:I could watch the Exorcist, i never saw Rosemary's Baby.. but for some reason I couldn't watch the Omen... something about the little kid and those eyes...damn..
Reply:The Exorcist.
Reply:The original Exorcist (1973). Did you know that while making the movie, they had some weird stuff going on? The girl who played the little girl (in the original) died, and so did the guy who played the priest! Apparently they also had some sets falling on people and other weird stuff.

The true story began in January 1949 and involved a 13-year-old boy named Robbie who lived with his parents and grandmother in Mt. Rainier, Maryland. Robbie was very close to his aunt who visited the family frequently from St. Louis, Missouri. She was a medium and attempted to communicate with the spirit world. Not only did she spark Robbie’s interest in this practise, she also taught him how to use the Ouija board.

Strange phenomena began happening on Jan. 10, 1949. The family heard scratching on the walls; however, exterminators found no evidence of pests of any kind. Objects moved by themselves: a table would turn over, a chair would move across the room, a vase would fly through the air, and a picture of Christ would shake. At night, Robbie felt scratching in his bed, and he suffered nightmares frequently.
