Can I grow Bay Leaves in Zone 7? What exposure and how?

I have an herb garden, rosemary year round, parsley seasonal, thyme year round, tarragon year round. How bout bay? Thanks for any input.

Look at the gardens in your area. Does laurel grow there (it's usually used as a hedge)? If laurel grows where you live, you can grow bay leaves ... laurel and bay are of the same 'family' and require the same geography and climate.
