Help me with my herb garden?

I have an indoor herb garden consisting of Rosemary, Tyme and Parsley. I planted them a few weeks ago but they don't seem to be growing, in fact they seem to be dying. They have a good amount of sunshine and water, but they also sit in front of my air conditioner that runs constantly at 70. could this be whats killing them?

Get them away from that air conditioner, it's drying them out. If they die, you will be charged with plantacide for goodness sakes.

But what do I know, I'm just "The Really Old Guy".
Reply:Kitchen herbs prefer growing outdoors .

Can you have an outdoor window box or just a flower pot with your favourite herbs?
Reply:Its very possible the constant breeze from the air conditioner is drying out the plants faster than they can absorb water. You should move them.
