Tuna Steak recipe suggestion?

Can anyone suggest a good way to prepare Tuna Steaks? my husband doesn't like rosemary, so that's out.
Tuna Steak recipe suggestion?
Because good grade tuna is such an expensive fish ( if you bought "Ahi") it should be eaten RARE only!

Also it shouldn't be masked with all kinds of sauces that will kill the taste of the Tuna.

Make it simple so he tastes the fish.

Coat the edges with sesame seeds and grill 30 to 45 seconds( depending on the thickness of the steak).

Teryaki on the side and that's it.

The tuna should be almost raw in the center( if you cooked it right).

And yes

It's Safe.

Good luck.
Reply:i agree w/ jc , i would use a basil infused olive oil + that's about it , rare for ahi . i personnally would set some aside for sashimi
Reply:Tuna is one of my favorite fish (and I don't really like fish)

this is my favorite way to make it

Marinade it in zesty italian dressing for an hour or so

spriknle with garlic powder s%26amp;p and wrap in foil and grill to prefered doneness I like med-well and that takes about 15 mins

it's delicious
Reply:For grilled tuna steak,

1/4 c. olive oil

2 tbsp. lime juice

1 tbsp. dry mustard

2 tbsp. dried cilantro

1 tbsp. chili powder

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tbsp. mustard seeds

4 to 6 tuna steaks

Mix ingredients and brush onto tuna steak. Refrigerate for several hours. Grill for 4 minutes per side or until steaks just begin to flake
Reply:Fry very quickly so that they're just cooked. Don't overcook tuna! Serve with cous-cous and loads of home made salsa (I throw together really good quality fresh tomatoes, sliced bell peppers, a little bit of fresh chilli, fresh coriander (or cilantro as I think you guys call it), garlic, red onion, cucumber, lots of olive oil - left in the fridge to let the flavours come out)
Reply:I either grill or fry my tuna steaks and just as they are ready, drop a spoonful of green or red pesto over each one and allow it to drizzle down before serving. The difference between green and red is the presence of tomato puree in the red; otherwise it is mostly basil, olive oil and pine nuts with a little parmesan cheese.
