Reply:Rosemary's baby is a thriller, not really scary but definitely worth watching. Even after all the years since it was filmed, I think it is still worthwhile movie. Very intense!
Reply:It's a weird movie but no blood %26amp; guts!!!! Have you see "Psycho," starring Anthony Perkins %26amp; Janet Leigh? You want scary? This will do it for you, so watch very closely if you do watch it.
Reply:i think it is scary because of its subject matter--it really made me feel creeped out and unsettled after seeing it. i definitely found it scarier than the Omen or similar "devil baby" movies, for lack of a better term. the book is much scarier because you get the whole background of the characters and why they are they way the are. the scariest to me is The Shining, if you haven't seen it you should.

When I saw it many, many years ago, I was impressed how it depicted some of the charactors as exceptionally 'odd' in behaviours %26amp; mannerisms.

It's on par with things like 'The Omen', 'Poltergeist', 'The Exorcist' %26amp; fairly mater of factly 'creepomatic'.
