Can someone guide me how to make an essential oil contained face pack?
This would be for a clay mask. (Is that what you mean by a 'face pack'?) You can purchase dry clay in bulk and prepare enough for one mask at a time. If you are planning on making a large amount, please use distilled water or a hydrosol and be clean and neat about all of you containers or else you will likely grow some mold in your mask. Combine your dry clay and water and stir just enough to mix. Let it sit for a few minutes, check on the consistency and add more clay or water as needed. When using essential oils therapeutically it is best to start with a 3% solution. When addressing something very serious in an aggressive manner, you can of course increase your %. Here is a simple method of calculation solution %. We will use the example of 30 mls of carrier. 1 ml is = 30 drops and 30 mls = 1 ounce. 30 mls would be @900 drops. 900 drops X 3% = 27 drops. Sooo...if you are going to make a one ounce mask, you can add about 27 drops of essential oil.
