What household plants would you recommend me for my cats?

I know vulpine, catnip, valerian (but I think it is an outside plant), rosemary, cive and savory are not poison to house felines. But I know that fresh herbs helps their tummy from time to time.

I never knew what to grow in house that wasn't poison to them!

Chives are TOXIC according to this.

Avocado, Alfalfa are also toxic, Yucca are all toxic plants, Aloe Vera is also toxic.

Reply:Aloe vera plant's ok. I have them in my house.
Reply:oat grass or wheat grass for cats--you can get the seeds for sprouting from the health food store. DON'T get the seeds from a farmer or a nursery, those have been treated with pesticides to keep mice from eating them and the stuff can leech into the actual sprouted parts. Get those grown for human consumption (and cat consumption). It's easy on their stomachs too.
Reply:You can grow pansies which are safe for both cat and human consumption. My cat loves them. You can also buy cat grass for the cats to eat.
Reply:best bet,,,,,,if u r not a plant lover,,,,,,,,dont have Any plants in your house.
Reply:sounds weird, but my cats were eating my indoor plants untili bought CAT GRASS.

Its designed for cat consumption and it gives them nutrients and stuff, they love it. Cats are drawn to it more than they are catnip.

and it looks great if you put it in a nice pot... we have several placed trhoughout the house an dthe kitties graze on it all teh time. :)
