What are must ingredients when baking a turkey?
that looks fine to me!

happy thanksgiving everyone!
Reply:I never use Cinamon...did you buy a "butter infused" turkey?
Reply:Butter Butter and some more Butter :)
Reply:You should add some lemon juice followed by pepper and NEVER FORGET THE GRAVY;)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Turkey is pretty essential.
Reply:Rinse inside of turkey with salt water.

Rub outside of turkey with butter. Open large size Reynolds cooking bag, place inside bag 2 tablespoons flour, shake bake to evenly coot inside, place turkey in bag and cook accordingly to instructions that come with bag.
Reply:ditch the cinnamon, or put it in a pie but keep it away from that bird! also ditch the garlic salt, use fresh garlic instead-it's waaaaaaaaaaaay better.

you have the essentials, i usually put an apple and a lemon along with garlic rosemary and sage into the cavity also.

turkey is not on your list, you kinda need one of those too.

enjoy your bird!
Reply:A big bottle of whiskey and a lot of patience, as the turkey will probably be eaten by all those annoying family members. Did I mention a lot of whiskey?.........................
Reply:I would not use garlic salt or cinnamon. If you want to use garlic, you should use fresh. Garlic salt can taste off. Season the bird with salt and pepper, and rub softened butter under the skin and over it to keep it juicy and help the skin crisp up. Use the herbs in your stuffing. Go easy on rosemary...it is very strong, especially when fresh.
Reply:Don't forget those plastic bags that you put the turkey into before placing into the oven . They keep the oven nice and cleen, but they want you to put a table-spoon of flour into the bag, also, to prevent bursting .
Reply:lemon pepper
Reply:The only MUST ingredient is "turkey," you didn't mention that. Put it in a covered roaster pan for most of the time while cooking so it remains moist. Take off the cover the last half hour. No need for other ingredients unless you would like to baste it. It won't make a whole lot of difference in the flavor.
Reply:pepper and salt a must
