What combination of spices make up italian seasoning?
Rosemary, marjoram, thyme, savory, sage, oregano, and basil, or at least that's what McCormick puts in theirs!!!!!
Reply:Italian Seasoning:

Basil, Oregano, Thyme, and Parsley.

Rosemary is good for chicken and turkey, Sage is good with chicken as well ( a little goes a long way) and mint is good for everything.

Hope this helps.

Trilli.
Reply:Here's what my grandma uses as her italian seasoning. Trust me, it's to die for.

2 Tbsp dried basil

2 Tbsp dried marjoram

2 Tbsp dried oregano

2 Tbsp dried coriander

2 Tbsp dried thyme

2 Tbsp dried rosemary

2 Tbsp dried savory

1 tsp hot red pepper flakes

Perfect for sauce and anything Italian.
Reply:there is different sorts of italian seasonings for different things. For a salad dressing it would be;

fresh garlic, fresh parsley,(fresh sweet basil leaves,I perfer ) or fresh oregano but never both at same time,salt and pepper to taste ,olive oil,balsmic red vinegar, onion powder and of course grated romano cheese.
