What can you use instead of sherry vinegar?

I am making roast garlic and rosemary chicken and It calls for 1/4 cup of sherry vinegar.
What can you use instead of sherry vinegar?
In a cooked recipe, you're not going to notice too much difference whether you use sherry vinegar or not...........now, if you were using it in a salad dressing, it would make a difference.......and wine can be used interchangeably in cooking a product in lieu of vinegar......Enjoy!!!

Reply:Im sure any good cooking vinegar will do. I would substitute with rice or a light vinegar (but not household vinegar). You might also want to try wine instead as a substitute. It will have the same characteristics as vinegar when cooked.
Reply:I would use something milder than red wine vinegar, like balsamic would be a great substitute or just use actual sherry. White wine would also be a good sub for chicken, garlic and rosemary, that's what I would use.
