I just put mine in the slow cooker in about a cup of water.....yes you can rub rosemary on it....but baste it alot so the rosemary does not dry too much and sinks in (did mine on high at first then turned it down)
Reply:if you want it to be tasty, marinade the lamb with the rosemary, basil, garlic, salt and pepper overnight (the longer you leave it to marinade the tastier).

place the lamb on a pan lined with aluminum foil, then place cloves of garlic on the sides (if you are a fan of roasted garlic), place an aluminum foil on top, but don't seal it tight. (this is to prevent the top from burning while the lamb is cooking.)

300-350 deg F on broil would be ok (works for me)

the setting depends on the size too. ask the meat seller for the setting, this usually depends on how heavy is the lamb.

how long depends on how thick and how big the meat is.

and it also depends on how you want it (medium well, well done, etc)

try to check the meat, like you could insert a knife into it to see the knife if it still has a lot of blood and the meat is still raw inside, etc.

when the meat is cooked the way you want it. then you could take out the foil on top and let the top turn to golden brown.

hope i helped.
Reply:Any day, lamb is best roasted in the oven and the potatoes cooked in the fat around it. I have cooked lamb in a slow cooker and it was left swimming in fat which wasn't very healthy. I pearce the skin and insert whole cloves of garlic. Tastes and smells fantastic.
