How do you dry garden herbs?

Sage, Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme and Curry specifically.
How do you dry garden herbs?
Tie them together at the end of the stems and hang to dry for about ten days. The leaves will crumble easily when dry enough. I did this with my basil and then put the dried leaves in a plastic bag in the refridgerator
Reply:I dried my own dill this past fall... It's very easy! Its the same procedure for drying any herb type.

Cut down plants and stick top down into a paper bag. Rubberband the bag around the stems to sort of "seal" the bag. Store the bag in a DRY, cool place for 6-8 weeks. You may want to hang them up, or sit them on a shelf.

If you dry dill this way, you can get your seeds for next year, also!
Reply:You can actually freeze them and they will ratain more flavor than drying them. Go to www.ask.com and go a search engine on how to freeze them.
