How do I dry fresh rosemany?

I got a rosemary plant and I want to make dried rosemary.
How do I dry fresh rosemany?
Best way I have found is to make small bundles and hang them upside down in a paperbag (don't let it touch the sides though)... then store them in the dark AWAY from heat and water (not over the stove or the dishwasher
Reply:just cut it and hang it upside down.....once dry you can store it in jars to keep it 'fresh'er
Reply:A fast way that I have done it is to spread the rosemary or any other fresh herbs on a paper towel and place in a microwave with another paper towel on top and a cup of water to absorb excess microwave energy. The microwaving process will dry out the rosemary or other herbs and when thoroughly dry place in a dry airtight jar and store. Monitor the microwave though to make sure they don't dry out so far as to catch on fire. It works pretty fast and well if you are careful.
Reply:Fresh rosemary is so much better and it is an aggressive growing plant and an evergreen. If you want to trim it to shape then use the clippings in flower arrangements great smell for your bathroom or in a potpourri. Stick to fresh rosemary fr cooking. You'll be much happier for it.
Reply:You can put them on a cookie sheet and let it dry in the sun for a week but don't get them wet.
