Coriander is one of my favorites. Goes well with salads and of course, Mexican food. Lavender is also welcome in my herb garden.

I agree with the first answer, cultivate things that you actually like and use for cooking.
Reply:an herb garden is good if you use the herbs. or like the plants. what do u cook with? plant that!

oregano

Reply:Hi:

There are different ways you could add more herbs and possibly other plant specimens. Consider adding some perennial and annual flowers to the garden. This will give you some nice color. Another possibility is planting a few evergreen complimentary shrubs with the herbs. This will give you color year around.

Fresh garlic is wonderful to cook with herbs. Plant some garlic. Garlic chives adds a little different flavor to culinary dishes.

I use herbs all the time for cooking and also have grown thousands from seeds. I will link you to the spices and herb section of my website. Browse through and see if there are any other herbs or spices that you could use in your garden. Create a special place by adding some unique specimens for you to enjoy.

I will also link you to the site map, as this page has everything that is on the website. Browse through and see if you can find any other information that may be helpful to you. Good luck to you and have a great day!
