Can anyone tell me how to describe this dish?

Greek Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans

INGREDIENTS

2 (14.5 ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes

1 (19 ounce) can cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed

10 ounces fresh spinach, washed and chopped

8 ounces penne pasta

1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

DIRECTIONS

Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.

Meanwhile, combine tomatoes and beans in a large non-stick skillet. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.

Add spinach to the sauce; cook for 2 minutes or until spinach wilts, stirring constantly.

Serve sauce over pasta, and sprinkle with feta.

Garlic Bread

INGREDIENTS

3 bulbs garlic

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread

1/2 cup butter

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Slice the tops off of the garlic bulbs so that the tip of each clove is exposed. Place the bulbs on a baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 30 minutes, or until garlic is soft.

Set the oven to broil. Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally, and place cut side up on a baking sheet.

Squeeze the cloves of garlic from their skins into a medium bowl. Stir in the butter, parsley, and Parmesan cheese until well blended. Spread onto the cut sides of the bread.

Broil for about 5 minutes, until toasted.

Marinated Rosemary Lemon Chicken

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup lemon juice

1/8 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons dried rosemary

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 lemon, sliced

DIRECTIONS

In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, and rosemary. Place the chicken and lemon slices in the bag. Seal, and shake to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill for high heat.

Lightly oil the grill grate. Discard marinade, and grill chicken 8 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. Don't worry about the rosemary sticking to the chicken, it tastes great when it's grilled. If you use fresh rosemary sprigs, throw the stems onto the coals - they give the chicken even more of a smoky rosemary flavor!

Delicious.
Reply:It's not a dish, it's a menu! Call it a Mediterranean Feast and the pasta dish I'd describe as a hearty pasta with feta, beans, greens, and tomatoes, great as a side dish or a vegetarian entree. The garlic bread is Classic Garlic Bread with the flavor enhanced with roasted garlic and olive oil, and the chicken is simple and easy with the flavors of rosemary and lemon as standouts. Chocolate covered strawberries are an elegant dessert that takes little fuss and can easily be done ahead. it all sounds tasty and shouldn't require any advanced cooking skills so it's a gourmet meal a beginner can make to impress and enjoy.
Reply:Whatever its called it sounds delicious and my son loves beans in his tomato sauce. We just got back from Greece yesterday and they would usually give it an italian name (if you were in Rhodes, they were occupied by the italians and the turkish for a time). So I would just call it Pasta alla Favola or Fava?
