Does rosemary oil come from the leaves or 'hairs' on the leaves?

no rosemary it self all alone is a plant it does not come off other plants.people harvest,cut,and package these things then send them out.
Does rosemary oil come from the leaves or 'hairs' on the leaves?
i am pretty sure its the leaves. They can be cold pressed for this purpose or boiled and oil extracted
